Join us for our last permaculture potluck of the year! Hosted by the Dickinson family in Chestertown, MD. The event starts at 6pm with a property tour and then dinner at 7. Please bring a dish or drink to share and a friend or two! This event is open to the community. Here's a bit more about our host's place:
"Our home 7-acre farm is certified as a wildlife habitat by the National Wildlife Federation, providing multiple instances of shelter, food, and water sources for local fauna. We have several gardens, including a rain garden where we grow squash and luffas, along with vegetable and flower gardens for local pollinators.
We are currently attempting to reestablish an orchard on the property. We have a compost bin and use water from our fish pond as a fertilizer for our gardens. In addition, the property features several plants with edible fruits and nuts, including mulberries, raspberries, and black walnuts."
