African American Burial Grounds and Cemeteries

This topic will focus on the historical significance and preservation efforts of African American burial grounds and cemeteries. This topic is important as it sheds light on a crucial aspect of our history and heritage. The presentation will be offered by Audrey Ross, a member of the Chesterfield Historical Society of Virginia African American History and Cemetery Committee, in addition to serving as Historian and Cemetery assistant with the historic First Baptist Church of Midlothian.
