2026 Burn Survivor Sunday

Life can change in an instant. For burn survivors, the path from injury to healing is often long and challenging—but it’s also marked by incredible strength, hope, and resilience.

Burn Survivor Sunday is a special time for us to come together and honor that journey, celebrating the bravery of survivors and the loved ones who have stood beside them.

This annual event brings together former patients, their families and friends, burn center staff, and local first responders and firefighters. It’s a day of connection, reflection, and community—where we share stories, offer support, and celebrate the powerful spirit of survival.

The day includes guided group conversations around topics that matter most in burn recovery, followed by a chance to informally share personal experiences and successes. While adults connect, kids are welcome to enjoy arts and crafts nearby with the help of our burn team.

Burn Survivor Sunday is all about support, connection, and celebration. We’re so glad you’re part of this community—because you are the reason we gather.
