Berkshire Nursing Families (BNF) invites the community to join a lively celebration of World Breastfeeding Week on Saturday, August 2nd, 2025, from 10 AM to 1 PM at Whitney’s Farm in Cheshire, MA (1775 S. State Road ).
This fun-filled family event will bring together parents, caregivers, and community partners for a morning of joyful connection, resources, and entertainment. Highlights include interactive science fun (think bubbles!), a petting zoo, and a play yard for little ones. Community partner Hilltown Village will be on hand with a collection of free baby clothes to give away from the Village Closet and the Berkshire Diaper Project will have free diapers too!
The event celebrates BNF’s long-standing commitment to nurturing the health and well-being of local families. Since 1998, BNF has provided free, compassionate feeding and parenting support throughout Berkshire County. This includes in-home lactation consultations, a 24/7 support line, peer support groups, playgroups, and childbirth and breastfeeding classes.
Community events like this not only build connections but also help sustain BNF’s mission to keep services accessible and free for all families raising children in the region.
