Candidate Meet and Greet

The South Norfolk Civic League will be hosting an event for voters to get to know Candidates in advance of Early Voting in place of our Regular Meeting for August.

The event will begin promptly at 6:30pm. If the Civic League has business to attend to, we will raise items early and move quickly, so as to give our speakers ample time.

All Candidates for state-wide, legislative, constitutional and local offices have received an invitation. We also note that the deadline for filing for the Special Election for the School Board seat is after our event. Write in candidates will need to contact the Civic League no later than one week prior to the event to participate.

Speakers will be granted three minutes for an introduction, then asked to respond to a question from the Civic League within two minutes. A Moderator and Timekeeper will be present.

Following remarks from the Candidates, we have invited everyone to stay to meet and speak one-on-one for the duration of the evening.

All are welcome to attend. Light refreshments will be provided by our hosts.
