BWV 49

We're headed into the new year and some old friends return for BWV 49! Soprano Sarah Moyer and Baritone Aaron Hart join CBE keyboardist Ken Mervine for this charming, intimate chamber cantata.

Bach would have likely been at the keyboard playing the expansive organ solos with his prized students from the St. Thomas School singing the arias. It also features piccolo cello, making this one of Bach's most unique (and incredibly cool!) creations.
