In der Eröffnungs-Milonga mit Hyperion aus Italien und angesagten DJs laden wir in die historischen Hallen des Industriemuseums Chemnitz ein. Lasst Euch von dem besonderen Charme der Ausstellung und dem Ambiente des Museums verzaubern. Die Gelegenheit, in den Gängen zwischen den Exponaten historischer Textil-, Automobilindustrie und Schreib- und Rechenmaschinen (u.v.m.) zu tanzen, die Chemnitz und Sachsen zu dem gemacht haben, was es war und ist, wird es so schnell nicht wieder geben! Letztlich ist in Chemnitz die Concertina erfunden und als Bandoneon aus Sachsen zu Tausenden nach Buenos Aires exportiert worden. Nun kommt es zu Ehren Carl Friedrich Uhligs und Alfred Arnolds mit Tangueras und Tangueros nach Chemnitz zurück!
Die Gäste unserer kleinen Show sind:
Rafael Luna is a professional tango dancer, teacher and performer for over 17 years. He approaches tango as a self knowledge tool and as way to express yourself in the context of the embrace. He started his career back in homeland Venezuela where he became National Tango Champion in 2011. He brings perspective (and a black belt) from a previous 19-year career in Karate, with deep understanding of movement dynamics that translate to the dance. Rafa is based in Buenos Aires, where he has been living, performing and teaching for the last 7 years - performing with the most prestigious companies and across milongas in the city. He brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in improvisational tango and stage tango as a performer, teacher, dancer and judge in international tango championship in China, South Korea, Russia, Italy, Spain in between others. He landed his method of teaching in an intimate knowledge of how the body works and how this knowledge can change your approach to movement no matter your experience or background or preferred style.
Andrea Giurizzato is a professional tango dancer, performer and instructor, as well as an actress and pole dance instructor. She began her tango journey when she was only 13 years old, and has been instructing for over 12 years. She is currently based in Buenos Aires, where she teaches and performs across the milonga scene both as a solo and group performance artist doing improvisational and stage tango. She is part of the cast of prestigious tango companies in the country - as well as a resident instructor for one of the top Studios in Buenos Aires. She will be joining us as a part of her second European tour, where she will be performing and teaching in other parts of Germany and Sweden. She brings a joyful energy and enthusiasm to her teaching through her ongoing investigation to deepen her knowledge of this dance in order to share it with others.
