Four Of Melbourne's Great Musicians Get Together for One Night of Great Songs! GOOD DOG, is a 4 piece band that features: Steve Wade (Vocals,Guitar), Angus Burchall (Drums,Vocals), Paul Gildea (Guitar,Vocals) and Paul Cartwright (Bass,Vocals)
Their extensive repertoire consists of songs from artists such as; Tom Petty, Wings, Talking Heads, Joe Jackson, Elvis Costello, Police, Rolling Stones and XTC.
Paul Cartwright- is an accomplished Australian bassist and multi-instrumentalist renowned for his extensive experience performing and recording across diverse musical genres both domestically and internationally. He has collaborated with esteemed artists including David Bridie, Brian Cadd, Russell Morris, Christine Anu, Kate Ceberano, and Richard Clapton, among many others.
Paul Gildea,-a veteran member of 'Icehouse' for over 35 years, was honored with induction into the ARIA Hall of Fame in 2006. Throughout his illustrious career, he has distinguished himself as a skilled guitarist, collaborating with renowned artists such as James Reyne, Rick Price, Vika & Linda, and Daryl Braithwaite, among others.Paul's musical journey includes a significant period touring the United States for two years, during which he showcased his talents as both a guitarist and vocalist with the 'Little River Band'. Beyond performing, he has demonstrated his acumen in artist management, successfully guiding Platinum-selling band 'Motor Ace', JJJ Unearthed winners 'Stonefield', and acclaimed producer and musician Michael Painter.
Angus Burchall-discontinued his university studies to co-found the band 'Dolphin Street' alongside Steve Wade. Initially catering to a niche yet devoted inner-city audience, the band gained traction for a brief period. In 1986, at the age of 20, Burchall transitioned to a pivotal role within the 'John Farnham band', marking the beginning of an enduring career. Throughout his tenure with John Farnham, Burchall has concurrently collaborated with esteemed artists such as Jimmy Barnes, Kylie Minogue, Olivia Newton-John, and The Black Sorrows. Additionally, he has contributed his talents to 13 seasons of 'Dancing With The Stars'.
Steve Wade-has extensive experience in the music industry, having Performedon over a thousand television and radio commercials, contributed vocals to more than 60 albums, and toured the United States for over four years as the lead singer of the 'Little River Band'. He has recorded two albums and toured Europe as the lead singer for 'Graeham Goble’s Encounter Project'. Steve has collaborated in studio, television, and live performances both internationally and locally with renowned artists such as Yothu Yindi, Tim Finn, Hall & Oates, Cheap Trick, America, Joe Camilleri, Renee Geyer, John English, Southern Sons, Olivia Newton John, and Kenny Loggins, among others. His television appearances include NBC Today, Gordon Elliot, Hey Hey It’s Saturday, Dancing with The Stars, Ray Martin, and Bert Newton.
