Three friends on the brink of University celebrate New Year’s Eve on top of the Malvern Hills whilst the world prays for a vaccine for Covid-19.
Ten years later in Cheltenham one of them is striving to develop a technology which can accurately detect lies and potentially solve the complexity of human interaction.
As the friends reconvene for another New Year and debate the implications of a “truth machine” events unfold which have graver consequences than who is simply lying.
