JENNY THOMAS IS COMING TO TOWN! BBC’s Strictly Come Dancing & UK’s leading Charleston & Lindy Hop Choreographer, Jenny Thomas, is coming back to Cheltenham to teach TWO Lindy Hop workshops. Saturday 30 August and Sunday 31 August 2025. Andoversford Village Hall. Limited tickets.
With more than 33 years’ professional dance experience, Jenny has worked in almost every genre of dance from Classical Ballet, Tap and Musical Theatre. She is now one of the world’s top choreographers in Swing, Lindy Hop, Charleston and Authentic Jazz Dances from 1920s to 1950s.

What: A workshop to teach moves "All Lindy Hoppers should know". The only way to keep these moves alive is to pass them on, so we will be doing exactly that. This will cover traditional moves and classic repertoire, and well as giving some moves and variations that add pizzazz to your dancing.
Who: for anyone confident to social dance Lindy Hop.
When: 10:30 to 14:20, including 30 mins for lunch. 14:30 - 16:00 tea dance (with cake)

What: A workshop to explore the skills and concepts that underpin your Lindy Hop, and build confidence for social dancing.
Who: aimed at dancers with under 2 years' experience - but anyone can join us if they want to work on their fundamentals.
When: 10:30 to 14:20, including 30 mins for lunch. 14:30 - 15:30 practice time, when Jenny will be around to answer any (Lindy Hop) questions and help you out with your dancing!
Andoversford Village Hall, Crossfields, Andoversford, Cheltenham, GL54 4LE. Please bring your own lunch with you. There will be free tea, coffee, biscuits and cow's milk available (please bring your own mug).
