The Advent and Christmas season is filled with joy, celebration, and expectation—but for many, it can also be a time of deep grief and loneliness. Whether you’ve lost a loved one, are walking through a difficult season, or feel the weight of sadness in a time when everyone else seems happy, you are not alone.
Join us at 5pm on December 21 for a gentle, hope-filled Service of Loss and Light—a sacred space for anyone who is grieving or supporting someone who is struggling this season. This worship service offers a moment to slow down, acknowledge your pain, and experience God’s comforting presence through Scripture, reflection, prayer, and light.
Before the service, we invite you to a come-and-go prayer time from 3–5pm, where you can quietly enter the sanctuary and simply sit and rest in God’s presence.
If you need room to be sad in a season filled with celebration—or if you want to stand alongside others who do—this service is for you.
We pray it will be a place of comfort, peace, and gentle hope.
You are welcome here.
