Three years ago, we set out on a mission — to bring a class back from the brink.
The Rainbow had history, heart, and heritage… but it needed momentum.
Today, we stand here with:
• 15 new Rainbows built
• 13 more currently in build for this year
• A fully operational and growing Rainbow Dinghy Sailing Association
• And the first Expedition Rainbow Regatta set for 14 March at Chelsea Yacht Club
What a journey it has been.
From sheds and workshops, to youth programs, to new sailors discovering just how quick and fun these boats really are — the Rainbow is alive again.
Now it’s time to show it.
Let’s get every old boat restored.
Let’s get every new boat rigged.
Let’s get as many Rainbows on the water at Chelsea as possible.
Because the Rainbow isn’t just back.
It’s the boat to be sailing.
