Aleksi Campagne, Montreal-based folk artist, grew up performing with his mother, Canadian icon Connie Kaldor. Trained under jazz-violin legend Didier Lockwood in Paris, he’s the only artist accepted into McGill’s classical violin, jazz violin, and jazz voice programs. With a Canada Council Grant and FACTOR Grant, Aleksi funded his acclaimed debut album “For the Giving” (Fall 2023). Singing in English and French, he blends folk roots with a bold, layered sound using voice, violin, and looping pedals.

Aleksi Campagne, artiste folk basé à Montréal, a grandi en se produisant avec sa mère, l'icône canadienne Connie Kaldor. Formé par la légende du violon jazz Didier Lockwood à Paris, il est le seul artiste accepté dans les programmes de violon classique, de violon jazz et de voix jazz de McGill. Grâce à une subvention du Conseil des Arts du Canada et à une subvention de FACTOR, Aleksi a financé son premier album acclamé « For the Giving » (automne 2023). Chantant en anglais et en français, il mélange des racines folkloriques avec un son audacieux et stratifié utilisant la voix, le violon et des pédales de bouclage.
