📣 SATURDAY 13TH DECEMBER — OUR BIGGEST DEMO YET 📣
We’re coming together again in Chelmsford on SATURDAY 13th December, 11am–1pm, but this time things are going to be different.
At previous demos, when we’ve managed to stop the buses coming into Chelmsford, all that’s happened is they’ve diverted into other towns instead. Colchester, Braintree, Witham — they all ended up with more buses and more problems.
So this time, our aim is simple:
👉 Stop the buses completely for the day.
If we do that successfully, then everyone — in Chelmsford, Colchester and Braintree — gets a day off.
A day where women can go shopping safely.
A day where children aren’t being followed or photographed.
A day where people can walk around without fear.
Over the past few months we have uncovered so much more than we ever expected.
This page originally started as a simple demo page — but it has grown into a full campaign exposing what’s happening at Wethersfield.
And we will keep exposing it.
But we also need to remember why we started this:
To protect our towns. To stop these buses. To make our communities feel safe again.
That’s why on 13th December, we’re going back to our roots, back to Tindal Square, back to the same steps where a brave 16-year-old girl recently told us she had been followed and winked at by men from Wethersfield in the city centre.
This demo will be:
🕚 11am–1pm — to keep it family-friendly
🍺 No drinking
📣 New speaker system (we’re fundraising and ordering this ourselves)
📄 Fresh leaflets (again funded by us)
🎤 Guest speakers already confirmed — names to be released closer to the day
If you would like to be a guest speaker, please inbox the page — we’re open to all suggestions, ideas and advice.
Let’s make this our biggest and strongest demo yet.
13th December — Let’s go.
Together we can make a real difference.
