🔥 Ronnie Herel (Quartz – MiSoul) | New Residency 🔥
All Night Long
We’re excited to welcome Ronnie Herel, one of the UK’s most respected producers and DJs, to launch his brand-new residency at acanteen.
Ronnie Herel has been at the heart of the club music scene for over 30 years, building a reputation as one of the UK’s most respected DJs, broadcasters, and tastemakers.
On radio, Ronnie has spent more than two decades championing Soul, RnB, and House – from BBC Radio 1Xtra & Radio 1 to his current daily Mi-Drive show on Mi-Soul, plus his acclaimed weekly Big RnB Show. Along the way, he’s interviewed legends including Stevie Wonder, Lionel Richie, and Janet Jackson, earning MOBO nominations for Best Radio DJ.
On the decks, Ronnie is hailed as the “King of Clubs,” known for reading the room and filling dancefloors worldwide – from Ibiza to New York, Croatia to Taiwan, and residencies at Southport Weekender, Ronnie Scott’s, and Pikes. Twice MOBO-nominated for Best Club DJ, he’s also been voted Best Club DJ by Blues & Soul magazine.
As an artist, Ronnie began in the late ’80s with Quartz, hitting the UK Top 10 with Dina Carroll’s It’s Too Late. More recently, he’s returned to the studio with releases on Quantize Recordings, including The Sun Will Rise Again, which topped the UK Soul Chart for four weeks, and his Neo Soul Sessions compilation series for BBE Records.
From radio to the clubs to the studio, Ronnie Herel continues to set the standard – a true ambassador for Soul, House, and RnB.
