***Paolo Morena (AKA TheMightySmall)*** has been involved in music all his life, multi instrumentalist & a great song writer to boot, his enthusiasm has transformed many nights at HOT BOX. He cares deeply about the "scene" and that is why he is putting on this night.
Paolos music grabs you from the very first breath and takes you on an emotional journey of soulful melodies and classic rock whilst hailing the distant tones of Van Morrison, Jeff Buckley, and a slight hint of Dylan.
The live-looping approach to performance, wrangling loops in a similarly compelling style to a professional spinner of plates whilst turning out perfectly crafted multi-instrumental electro/folk/rock mash-ups is a show to behold.
Paolo will be joined on stage by ***Steve Bentley-Klein***
Steve studied the Violin and composition at Guildhall School, London and also Manhattan School, New York. For the past two years Stephen was Musical Director for the International Sam Mendes/Kevin Spacey Bridge Project and has performed extensively at the National Theatre with Sir Trevor Nunn, Sir Nicholas Hytner and Michael Neiman.
He's worked with Shirley Bassey, Barry White, The Moody Blues, Neil Sedaka, Rod Stewart, Burt Bacharach, David Gates, Johnny Mathis, Michael Bolton, David Cassidy, The Four Tops Paolo Nutini, Morcheeba, David Byrne & Deep Purple
He knows his way around a tune!
Then there is Random Duck who will bring his special mix or Randomness to DJ for the rest of the night.
