ANGLIA RUSKIN UNIVERSITY, Chelmsford, United Kingdom
Join Marijana Baric, Associate Professor in Organisational Behaviour at Anglia Ruskin University (ARU), for an interactive talk that dives into how artificial intelligence (AI) is shaping decisions in education, employment, and society. Through real-world case studies and live audience polling, explore how bias can enter algorithms, who gets impacted, and why it matters who designs the tech. From hiring systems to student assessments, we’ll ask: Can a machine ever be truly unbiased? Should AI make decisions that affect people’s lives? And what role should young people play in shaping the future of technology? This session highlights the importance of equity, wellbeing, and generational impact in the digital age.
