CHAMPS Musical Group

CHAMPS (Chelmsford Amateur Music Players and Singers) is an informal group for music-making which meets in the Art Place from 2.00 pm on the second and fourth Sunday of the month.

We:

• Welcome players and singers of all levels, including complete beginners
• Enjoy a range of musical genres, including folk, pop, rock and blues
• Participate in jamming sessions and sing-alongs
• Explore musical ideas and themes
• Learn from each other and develop both individually and together
• Perform at events if so inclined
• Plan to keep this a friendly and informal drop-in club
• No pressure to attend regularly or practice between sessions
• No membership fees (room hire cost, if applicable, shared)

Suitable for all ages. But if under 18 years old, they must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

Place: The Art Place is located in Meadows Shopping Centre, Chelmsford CM2 6FD.

The workshop is helped by one or more of our volunteers so please always be kind, and respectful as they are giving their time. Be understanding that this is also part of their journey for their own mental health and well-being.
