Experience Chehalis Mural Celebration

Experience Chehalis is proud to celebrate “Discover Lewis County,” the newest addition to our city’s growing public art collection! Located on the historic former Star Tavern building at 242 NW Chehalis Avenue, this vibrant mural celebrates the spirit and beauty of Lewis County.

The project began as an initiative of Lewis County, which commissioned the original artwork by regional artist Paul Lanquist. Experience Chehalis brought the piece to life in downtown Chehalis, engaging local sign painter Joe Beck to hand-paint the mural with incredible craftsmanship and care.

We invite the community to join us for a mural dedication and community photo, with brief remarks and thanks to those who made this project possible. Guests will receive a limited-edition mural sticker, and treats will be provided as we celebrate this exciting addition to our downtown!
