The Mount Calvary Heritage Foundation is proud to announce it will host The Moving Wall and the GoldStars Tribute Wall at Pine Lawn Cemetery from Thursday, October 2 through Monday, October 6. This powerful tribute offers the community an opportunity to pay their respects to the brave men and women who have served and sacrificed for our nation.
The Moving Wall is a half-size replica of the Vietnam Veterans Memorial in Washington, D.C., and has been traveling the country since 1984, bringing healing and remembrance to communities across the nation. Alongside it, the GoldStars Tribute Wall honors the memory of military personnel who lost their lives in service to the United States during the Gulf, Iraq, and Afghanistan Wars.
The exhibition will be open to the public 24/7 during its stay at Pine Lawn Cemetery, and admission is free. Special ceremonies and events, including an opening ceremony and a “Veterans Village” featuring local businesses and organizations veteran support services, will be held throughout the display period.
This event is proudly presented in partnership with the West Herr Automotive Group. Additional support is provided by Stone Art Memorial, PlotBox, and the Erie Niagara Funeral Directors Association.
