Fishing for Freedom
Hello, I am Brandon Sonnenburg, a volunteer for the Warrior over Freedom Foundation, I am wanting to get this information out early this year to identify boaters who are willing to donate their time and boat to partner up and take a veteran fishing for our annual Fishing For Freedom Tournament on Lake Eufaula, OK, from October 17th to 18th. We are currently only accepting boaters only at this time, all veterans will be able to sign up 01Sep25. We help 50 veterans participate in this tournament, which is free of charge. The tournament entry, lodging, and meals on both Friday night and Saturday the day of the tournament are all provided at no cost.
The only cost would be transportation to Jelly Stone Park, Lake Eufaula, where anyone needs lodging we will provide. Additionally, whether or not you and your team elect to participate in Big Bass, which is not mandatory, is only $20 for each team.
This event is a free tournament and a fantastic opportunity to socialize and enjoy a good time, as well as to meet and hear some of the veterans' experiences.
