🌺 Remembrance Poppy Display – Call for Contributions 🌺
Our Remembrance Poppy Display will be going up on 2nd November.
This beautiful display was originally created by a dear friend of the Centre, the late Ann Evans, who we sadly lost earlier this year.
Over the years, some of the poppies have been lost or damaged, and we’d love to restore the display to its full glory, which we know would make Ann proud.
We’re asking for help from our wonderful community to knit, crochet, or sew additional poppies.
Both red and purple poppies are welcome.
Please remember to add a loop or ties to the back so we can easily attach them to the display.
🧶 Patterns for knitted and crocheted poppies are available from the Centre.

Join us for an afternoon of crafting, chatting, and remembrance. Bring your wool, needles, or hooks — and we’ll provide complimentary refreshments.
