EquiDay Part TWO

FREE & open to the public. Doors open for registration, light refreshments at 8:30, program to begin at 9AM. Dr. Dorothee Gilmore of Rivendell Veterinary Care and a faculty member of SUNY Canton will speak on Keeping our Horses Healthy; Why Biosecurity Matters. The second speaker is AFA Certified Farrier Brendan Venne and he will present Hoof Balance- A Farrier's Perspective. Recently returned to the Champlain Valley, Brendan worked extensively in southern New England after graduating from the rigorous and comprehensive Journeyman Farrier Course at Heartland Horseshoeing School in Missouri. The best part of having highly qualified professionals in the room is the elevation of knowledge! We will moderate a short panel discussion on the role that farriers and vets play in our horse's health and how promoting good collaboration benefits us all.
