Maggie Smith & Kwame Alexander- Chautauqua Lecture Series

The previously announced Week Seven morning lecture on Aug. 4 has been revised. Due to unforeseen circumstances, LeVar Burton is unable to travel to Chautauqua. We wish him well.

In his place, we welcome Maggie Smith, celebrated poet and best-selling author of Good Bones, You Could Make This Place Beautiful, and her highly anticipated A Suit or a Suitcase. Smith will join Kwame Alexander, the award-winning author and Michael I. Rudell Artistic Director of Literary Arts, for a compelling conversation on the power of storytelling to inspire change.
