Roots to Shoots: Tree Care Workshop

Join certified Tyler Meroney, Urban & Community Forestry Partnership Coordinator from the Department of Agriculture Forestry Division for an engaging and informative workshop all about caring for the trees that shape our landscapes.

From roots to shoots, participants will learn the essentials of tree health — including proper planting techniques, pruning practices, soil care, and how to identify common pests and diseases.

Whether you're a homeowner looking to keep your trees thriving or simply curious about the science behind healthy urban forests, this session will provide practical knowledge and hands-on tips for every level of experience.

Come ready to dig in, ask questions, and leave with a deeper understanding of how to nurture trees from the ground up. Registration is recommended but not required. Walk ins are welcome!!!
