Racket at the Boneyard returns for its second year with an incredible lineup of artists! The whole day is focused on bringing together music lovers, starting with "Racket on the Rails" - a vintage & vinyl market at the nearby Chattanooga Choo Choo, with dozens of record dealers, vintage goods sellers, artists, and other purveyors of arts and culture. Then we're closing out the day with an after-party at The Boneyard - a full evening of live music with a stellar bill of independent artists, ranging from rock to country to psych to americana and more.

About the Artists

Floating Action
Seth Kauffman is the musical mastermind behind Floating Action (he writes, produces, engineers, and plays all the instruments). Purposefully dodging worldly success in pursuit of his musical convictions, Floating Action has released 8 albums since 2005. Currently, Seth works in the studio as an engineer and session musician, and tours with 'dudes who get it' like Jim James & Dan Auerbach. He has played on albums by Lana Del Rey, Jim James, Ray Lamontagne, Angel Olsen, and more. Floating Action's 2021 studio album, Jinx Protecting, was featured in Wilco's "Best Albums of 2021" list.

Dead Tooth
Dead Tooth’s sound brings a welcome discordance to a dystopian landscape. The self proclaimed “rodeo-core” quintet from Queens NY weaves high energy hooks, brazen lyrics, and dirty sax into a refreshingly unhinged live show that’s earned them comparisons to acts like Refused, At the Drive In and The Jesus Lizard. Since the release of their sophomore EP Pig Pile in 2022, the band has put out two original singles (earning praise by NME and SPIN magazine), as well as a scintillating trash punk cover of Demi Lovato’s “Cool for the Summer” produced by Jeff Berner of Psychic TV.

T. Hardy Morris
Born and raised in Georgia, T. Hardy Morris got his start with southern psych-rock/grunge outfit Dead Confederate, which shared bills with the likes of Dinosaur Jr. and R.E.M. in addition to making their national TV debut on Conan. When the band split up, Morris hit the ground running under his own name, releasing his solo debut, Audition Tapes, to widespread acclaim in 2013. Over the course of the next decade, he would go on to release three more similarly lauded solo records, prompting love everywhere from Pitchfork and SPIN to Paste and Billboard and earning dates with the likes of Jason Isbell, Drive-By Truckers, Shovels & Rope, and Shakey Graves. In addition to his steady solo output and rigorous tour schedule, Morris also found time to record a pair of albums with the freewheeling side project Diamond Rugs, which featured members of Deer Tick, Los Lobos, and The Black Lips.

Andrew Combs
Hailed by everyone from NPR (who hosted Combs for an acclaimed Tiny Desk performance in 2023) to Rolling Stone (who deemed him "a pop perfectionist"), Andrew Combs has built his career with a chameleonic sound that explores subtlety, nuance, and the grey area between folk, country, and classic pop. The exploration continues with Dream Pictures, the 2024 album that finds its Combs embracing atmospheric textures and heady, homegrown experimentation.

Cash Langdon
Birmingham indie rocker Cash Langdon has two records to his name, but the most recent, Dogs (2025), is the first where he is joined by his band Meadow Dust (bassist Matt Whitson and drummer Reagan Bruce). Their fuzzy take on heavy country rock recalls Neil Young & Crazy Horse and gives off the heat of Langdon’s native Birmingham. Like Young, his voice is simultaneously earnest and world-weary, but there’s a sense of humor too, and a resignation to keeping on. The songs are beautiful, searing, southern-gothic testaments to the ongoing violence of being awake to the world around you and the resolve to stay awake anyway.

Abe Houck & The Bardos
Abe Houck is singer/songwriter and musician based in Chattanooga Tennessee. Over the years playing in bands and solo projects his music has spanned styles and genres from folk, garage rock, post punk and country. Abe’s upbringing was a peripatetic one - born in Iowa, grew up in the Midwest, South Africa and Texas, and arrived in Chattanooga in 2009. He is currently working on a debut solo album to be released in 2026.

The Boneyard House Band (feat. Beevie)
Boneyard's very own house band will be closing out the night with an eclectic mix of covers and audience favorites, along with original songs by Chattanooga soul/pop artist, Beevie.
