Plate it Forward

Join our Y family at the Mac Ave. event space on September 25, 2025 at 5:30 pm for a night of delicious food, community connections and to learn more about how the J. A. Henry YMCA fights food insecurity in our area.

Plate it Forward is both an opportunity to educate our neighbors on the work we do to feed kids in our community and a chance to celebrate all of the victories we've had in the past year.

Each year, our YMCA prepares, packs and distributes over 300,000 free meals to children at 80+ partner sites across the region to help reduce childhood hunger. The J. A. Henry programs, such as the Summer Food and Afterschool programs, provide thousands of meals daily, and our Early Childhood Nutrition program supplies fresh meals to the Y's two preschool sites in Chattanooga.

Join us for an evening of fellowship, good food and community action!
