We are excited to welcome visitors and members for our annual Open House for a night of interactive photography, discussions, and exhibition.
Attendees are encouraged to bring their favorite gear - cameras, tripods, phones, or tablets - for an evening of interactive learning guided by professional photographers. Hands-on booths will feature demonstrations in oil glazing and portraiture, giving participants the chance to explore new techniques and approaches. A pair of engaging Table Talks will round out the evening with roundtable discussions focused on wildlife and nature photography, and the art of photographing flowers.
Guests are also invited to bring portfolios or prints for informal review and conversation. In addition, Used Photo Pro will be on site to purchase surplus camera gear, a wide selection of free photography books will be available on a first-come, first-served basis, and a gallery showcasing the work of PSC members will be on display throughout the evening.
A team of PSC members will lead demonstrations and answer questions throughout the evening, sharing their knowledge and experience with participants. Mentors include Kevin Kibble, Lin Prabish, Stuart James, Louann Smith, Cheryl Hale, and Laura Newbourne, who represent a wide range of photographic interests and creative perspectives.
