New York, NY - Legendary performer Lydia Lunch has announced a run of live dates pairing with
fall 2025. Tour ‘Tales of Extraordinary Madness’
underground standup comic JT Habersaat for spring 2024. Dubbed The Last Laugh, the shows will
see Habersaat performing his bitingly sardonic brand of comedic storytelling, with Lunch closing
out the evening with the bold and confrontational spoken word that has earned her a rabid fanbase
all over the globe.
The duo will end each evening with a conversation and audience Q&A.
Known as the Queen of No Wave and Muse of the Cinema of Transgression, Lydia Lunch has
been touring in a variety of mediums since 1977. Lydia has appeared live with the likes of John
Giorno, Hubert Selby Jr, Karen Finley, Jerry Stahl, Wanda Coleman, Henry Rollins, J.G. Thirlwell,
Rowland S. Howard, Thurston Moore and many, many more, and has presented workshops for
writers throughout the USA and Europe, where she continues to tour with both music and spoken
word. She is the author of numerous books and has appeared in countless film projects.
Deemed the ‘Godfather of Punk Rock Comedy’ by Chicago Now, JT Habersaat created the
groundbreaking DIY juggernaut The Altercation Punk Comedy Tour in 2007, which he headlined for
over a decade. Recently named one of The Interrobang’s ‘Next Big Thing Comics’, JT has
consistently worked the road with the likes of Eddie Pepitone, Brian Posehn and Doug Stanhope, as
well as bands such as Dwarves, The Sword, Off With Their Heads, Dead Boys and countless others.
JT also curates the long-running Altercation Comedy Festival in Austin, Texas, recently named one
His new book ‘Doing Time: Comedians Talk
of ‘the best comedy festivals in the world’ by Vulture. He is currently at work on his third book.
Stand-Up’, an oral history of the genre, was released in July 2025 on London’s esteemed Jawbone
Press.
