Jonathan Wimpee and Bella Lam at The Woodshop

The St. Elmo Songwriter Series makes a change to the first Friday, welcoming two powerhouse musicians in October. Jonathan Wimpee is one of the most talented and prolific guitar players in Chattanooga and surrounding areas. His bands opened for such groups as Lynyrd Skynyrd, Marshall Tucker and Greg Allman. This master guitar player also has a killer voice and writes excellent songs, as shown by his work in his album State of Mind.
Bella Lam, a rising country artist from Jackson, TN., blends Southern grit with pop-rock sparkle with a sound as bold as her lyrics--raw, honest and rooted in real-life story telling. Whether she's pouring heartbreak into a hook or turning a messy night into a viral chorus, Bella doesn't just write songs--she lives them.
Singer-songwriter Richard Daigle will host the show which has a $10 cover. Come out for a special night of original songs in a true listening environment!
