We will go over:
- How to adapt tools you already have without buying fancy equipment
- How to choose ingredients (and where to get them easily - like the supermarket)
- How to care for and feed your starter (and what to do if you need to revive it)
- How to store your starter so it lasts forever (even if you go away)
- What to do with your extra starter
You will:
- Snack on as much fresh baked bread as you can eat, with delicious homemade sweet and savoury toppings (vegan options also available)
- Shape, score and bake bread in the workshop and you'll each take home a fresh baked loaf
- Prepare your first loaf to bake at home anytime in the next day or two
- Take home a jar of my starter, a detailed recipe guide and booklet of tips and links, and everything you need to bake your first loaf at home
After the workshop, I'll guide you through baking your first loaf at home and will be available for Q&A support until you're up and running (usually 2-4 weeks).
All you need to bring is a mixing bowl to take your dough home in. All ingredients, scales and spoons will be provided.
