Join Us for a Powerful Ancestral Lecture

Author Sonya Womack Miranda, writer of Unnamed: The Search for Sarah Miller, will be speaking on her deep African-American roots in Pittsylvania County and Halifax County, Virginia.
Through extensive research, she has traced her lineage to the Sharswood Plantation and uncovered her enslaved ancestors across six additional plantations in the region. Come hear her compelling journey of discovery, history, resilience, and truth.
