AS ALWAYS, WE EXTEND A WARM WELCOME to all breastfeeding mothers and pregnant women to join us. Feel free to come and share your experiences, get practical suggestions for your current problem, or just to listen & learn for when your new baby has arrived. 🙂
IF WE ARE NEW TO YOU, HERE'S WHAT TO EXPECT: Chatham LLL meetings are led by LLL Leaders Nicola & Deborah, who are accredited breasfeeding counsellors and group facilitators. You'll be welcomed warmly and invited to sit in our circle of about 6-10 chairs, have a free cuppa and nibbles as we take it in turns to introduce ourselves and our babies.
As always at LLL, there will also be an opportunity to raise your own current burning issue and hear suggestions and insights from other experienced mums, together with input from our accredited breastfeeding counsellors. You'll be feel free to share your experiences, get practical suggestions for any problem, or just to listen & learn. 🙂
You can expect the mutual encouragement, support and sharing of experience from other LLL mums so you know you are not alone but in good company as you meet your baby's needs through breastfeeding. ❤
You may come to enjoy making us your regular circle of support on your breastfeeding journey ... or just to pop by when you need something special from us.
WE MEET REGULARLY on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month at Chatham Library, Dock Road, ME4 4TX. The library has a pay carpark alongside and it is also close to Chatham bus station and a short walk from the train station.
We will gather from 10am; start the meeting at 10:30am; and finish at 12 noon. Free hot drinks and nibbles are provided.
PLEASE SPREAD THE WORD to other breastfeeding mums and pregnant women - and bring your own mum, sister or friend too if you'd like.
IF YOU FEEL A BIT TOO SHY to walk into a strange place, one of us will gladly meet you outside the front and walk in with you to help to put you at your ease. Please just ask or message us.
