Delighted to formally announce the details of our second Boogaloo Revue event of 2025 and once again it’s another fantastic lineup of guest DJ’s.
First up we have the man, the myth, the legend himself, Gospel Bob AKA Koko The Nibbler, or Uncle Ron depending on where he’s working and is returning for his 3rd DJ spot at Boogaloo. Bob has practically played every major funk edged related event there is and way beyond that and is a resident DJ at the infamous Soul Funktion nighter, which was one of the most important event of our kind over the last 10 years or so. Expect complete mayhem and possibly some circus tricks, including stage diving, stripping-off and of course some utterly brilliant records from the bossman.
Next up we welcome back Boogaloo stalwarts Brian Maguire and Warren Cocker who have guested at our night more than any other DJ’s and if they’re not DJing then they are always there in attendance and supporting the night, so basically 2 of the team. They are both very much on the same musical wavelength as ourselves and between them they have DJ'd at most of the similar and well respected musical events across the country.
Door Tax is a mere £5 and starts at 9pm and ends at 2am.
The venue Poco Loco which is a small, friendly, family run grass roots music venue, cocktail and dive bar, which also serves Mexican and Spanish street food. It’s one cool little place and has reasonable bar prices and a great attitude.
For those travelling there are a good number of relatively well priced hotels nearby.
