Compete for ultimate bragging rights and $500 at the 2025 Alger County Trivia Championships! Teams of four start at one of the five qualifiers. If your team wins the qualifier, you'll win a cash prize up to $100 and move on to compete in a head-to-head competition for the overall title at the main stage at the Alger County Fair.
To enter, $10 per person, with all proceeds going back to the Alger County Fair. Teams can compete in multiple qualifiers, but cannot win more than one (i.e. if a team loses the first qualifier, they can enter again in another qualifier to try and make the championship).

Thursday, July 17 at 6:30 PM at East Channel Brewery Munising
Thursday, July 17 at 7:00 PM at New Moon Bar Eben Junction
Tuesday, July 22 at 6:30 PM at Falling Rock Cafe & Bookstore Munising
Wednesday, July 30 at 7:00 PM at Trenary Tavern Trenary
Payouts: Qualifier winners will receive $100 or half the entrance fees for that night's qualifier, whichever is less.
Overall Champions: $500

1. General Knowledge - A well-balanced list of random trivia questions
2. Fair Sciences - The mission of the Alger County Fair is in this year's fair book (available now!), with this round about agriculture, horticulture, household arts, mechanical arts & sciences, and art of their varied branches.
3. Mystery Round - We give you nine trivia questions and you have to tell us how they're connected.
4. Visual Round - Identify the ten images
5. For Their Role - We give you three iconic roles from film, television and voice acting. You give us the actor or actress that played those roles.
6. General Knowledge - Same as round #1.
7. Music - Identify ten artists and song titles across genres and generations.
