Outdoor Gear Swap

Come out to the SouthWest Metro Lending Library (2460 Chaska Blvd.) to exchange outdoor gear in good, working condition with fellow outdoor lovers! All items are free to take; you do not need to bring items to take items.

All communities are welcomed and encouraged to participate!

How it works: Participants donate outdoor items they no longer use but are in good condition. They browse items others have brought and take home the ones they like. Everything is free!

How to donate: drop off your items in good, working condition (see item list below) at the Lending Library (2460 Chaska Blvd.) during our open hours between 4/22 and 5/30.
Hours: Tues. 10am-12pm, Wed. 12-2pm, Fri. 12-5pm, Sat. 9am-12pm

Examples of items we can accept: camping/hiking gear, lawn games, fishing, boating accessories (e.g. life jackets or similar), navigation (e.g. compass or similar), outdoor chairs, clothing/attire for outdoor activities (Please note: this is not an exhaustive list, you can text or call 612-497-4728 with questions)

Items we cannot accept: oversized items that don't fit in a vehicle, guns, knives, weapons, motorized items, skis, helmets, items that have been recalled, hazardous waste, broken items
