The Glucose Grind: Supporting Seniors with Diabetes

The inaugural Glucose Grind 65KM Endurance Run is set to take place on June 28, 2025, bringing together runners, walkers, bikers, and supporters to raise funds for PEI seniors living with diabetes. We'll be tackling the Confederation Trail from Kensington to downtown Charlottetown - exact route to be confirmed in the coming weeks.

This initiative, organized in partnership with the Community Foundation of PEI, will ensure that donations go directly toward helping seniors who struggle to afford medical supplies, nutrition, and other essential resources for managing their diabetes.

But this event isn’t just for endurance runners – it’s for everyone! There are no expectations for distance, speed, or experience. Whether you run, walk, bike, or join for just a few kilometers, you are part of the Glucose Grind. Every step you take helps raise awareness and support for seniors managing diabetes.
