Get ready to feel the Latin heat in the heart of the Charlottetown waterfront! Salsa by the Sea brings the regular Latin social dance, usually done at a dance studio, to life by the sea - right at the Queen's Wharf close to the love-lock sculpture and the Big Red 2025 sign. This FREE event includes a beginner salsa & bachata lesson (1 hour total) by Salsa Con Victoria from Charlottetown and a special guest from Moncton, Sheiko Ortiz from Sabor Y Son, as well as two full hours of social dancing to the vibrant beats of Salsa, Bachata and Merengue music!
Whether you're completely new to Latin dance and music, or want to show off some moves learned in class - or just dance the night away to the contagious rhythms of Latin music - this is the event for you!
7pm-7:40pm - Beginner Salsa class offered by Salsa Con Victoria from PEI & Sheiko Ortiz from Sabor Y Son from Moncton! No partner or dance experience required
7:40pm-8pm - Beginner Bachata class offered by Salsa Con Victoria from PEI & Sheiko Ortiz from Sabor Y Son from Moncton! No partner or dance experience required
8pm-10pm - Social dancing - this is your time to shine with Salsa, Bachata and Merengue moves!
