Pinch Penny Fair takes place on Saturday, May 17, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. The fair is cash only, admission is $2 (children 12 and under are free). Please note that due to construction the Queen Street/Box Office Entrance is the only entrance this year.
This giant indoor yard sale is a thrift shopper’s dream, with hundreds of items for sale, including books, sporting goods, toys, plants, baked goods, music, jewellery, fabric, holiday décor, games, puzzles, household goods, tools, glassware, a toonie table, and more. The event will also include a silent auction, and a kid’s zone, with face painting, art, games, and of course, much more!
The Pinch Penny Fair would not be possible without the incredible support of the community at large from those donating items to the volunteers, to the folks that join us on the day and find some treasures to take home.
All funds raised at the Pinch Penny Fair go towards arts education at Confederation Centre of the Arts and for three arts scholarships awarded each year by the Friends.
Donations for the Pinch Penny Fair will be accepted at the Centre’s box office entrance at Queen Street on the dates listed below. As a reminder, donations should be gently used items. Clothing, television, and computer donations cannot be accepted.
Donations drop-off schedule:
Saturday, May 3 from 1:30 – 5:30 p.m.
Friday, May 9 from 3 – 7 p.m.
Tuesday, May 13 from 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. – 6 p.m.
