Join Canadian fiddle champions Jane Cory & Kyle Burghout (Winnipeg, MB) on their cross-Canada tour as they celebrate the release of their new album, Many an Open Ground! Jane & Kyle will be joined by Alanna Jenish (guitar/step dance) and John Mitchell (piano), as well as special guest Gammons & Knorr, who will open the show.

Canadian fiddle champions Jane Cory and Kyle Burghout join forces to create a unique sound characterized by lush twin fiddle harmonies, intricate arrangements, and heartfelt compositions. Having toured extensively across Canada, performing at high-profile festivals, competitions, intimate house concerts, and community dances, Jane & Kyle bring an infectious energy and warmth that captivates audiences.

Jane, a Canadian Grand Masters Fiddle Champion, and Kyle, a North American Irish Fiddle Champion, each bring a wealth of experience and accolades to the stage. Their musical partnership is a seamless fusion of talent, deeply rooted in the vibrant fiddling traditions of their upbringings—Jane in Manitoba and Kyle in the Ottawa Valley. Their music reflects these traditional styles, while also featuring contemporary tunes written by fiddlers from across Canada and beyond, including many compositions of their own.

GAMMONS & KNORR:

Tom and Ray, Gammons & Knorr, met at the Kenosee Lake Kitchen Party in Saskatchewan 7 years ago. A year later, Tom moved to PEI, and after a meandering few years, Ray joined him. Both originating from out west (Tom from Montana, Ray from SK) and moving to the vibrant Canadian maritimes, they share a love of tunes from across North America and Europe. Their 5-track debut EP "Bird's Eye" was released in spring 2025, featuring both original and traditional tunes that capture some of the many inspirations they have found while travelling around Canada and the US.
