Island Jazz Show #400

Island Jazz celebrates our 400th show at Baba's Lounge this week - 400 live jazz performances since moving to Baba's Lounge in January 2016!! Dan Rowswell with Ian Toms guitar, Christopher Martell bass and Matt Bridges drums perform tunes by Paul Simon, Quincy Jones, Angela Verbrugge, McCoy Tyner, Joe Henderson, Sarah McLachlan, Kenny Garrett, Bill Frisell and more. It's a highlight reel of some of our favourites from our shows this past year at Baba's Lounge.

Winner of the Music PEI Award in 2020 for Live Music Programming and nominated for a 2019 ECMA for Event of the Year, Island Jazz is a weekly series at Baba's Lounge featuring top local musicians performing original music, standards, jazz and pop favourites, always featuring live improvisation, with a different featured group each week.

Music starts a little after 8pm, $10 minimum at the door. Second set will be open for guests to sit. Island Jazz at Baba's Lounge every Thursday all year long.
