Island Jazz - Joe Chev's "Heroes of Modern Funk"

Known as the drummer for PEI’s funk-disco band Lefunk, Joe Chev brings a high-energy set of modern funk to Island Jazz. Inspired by artists like Cory Wong, Vulfpeck, the Fearless Flyers, and Cory Henry, this show blends tight instrumentals with powerful vocals. Featuring Nico Romero and Colton Steele on guitar, Max Gallant on drums, Spencer Soloduka on keys, and vocals by Taylor O'Hanley and Will Mackinley.

Two sets starting at 8pm, $10 minimum at the door. Island Jazz at Baba’s Lounge every Thursday night, all year round.
