Got Blues Matinee & Jam is hosted by Got Blues (Chris Roumbanis and friends Mike Robicheau & Alan Dowling). Running every Saturday September to June since 2009. The 1st set features a special guest each show. The 2nd set is always an electric blues jam (just show up and put your name on the list). There is no cover charge. We pass the hat.
I was born in rural Nova Scotia, did my first paid gig at 10 years of age and my Muse has shown me 60% of the globe, Guitar in hand. I feel like a “Road Scholar” writing and sharing my story through song.
From Kim. "I spent many years in Toronto, playing with fine Musicians and learning the “ropes”. The competition was boot camp and I was schooled by the best. Then I travelled the world Singing for 6 years.
Nine Original recordings and many years later, I have returned to Nova Scotia where I have reconnected with my roots.
My First Single in 7 years “I’ll Never Fall In Love Again” was released November, 2024. It will be included on a Greatest Hits retrospective called “50 Years A Singer” in May of 2025. An original recording will follow in the late fall of 2025.
Coming home has inspired many songs and I can’t wait to road test them. I look forward to playing for old friends as I travel our beautiful Country, Canada in 2025. See you at the gig."
