Artisan Afternoons - Made On Mi'kma'ki

Join us for our weekly Wednesday Artisan Afternoon session. This week we will be hosting Made On Mi'kma'ki, featuring Tee and Koady Sock from Abegweit First Nation and Morgan Varis from Peguis First Nation.

Connect with artisans as they showcase their traditional art through live demonstrations, offering a rare glimpse into time-honored techniques passed down through generations. Visitors will have the unique opportunity to engage directly with the artists—asking questions and gaining deeper insight into the cultural significance behind each piece. This interactive experience celebrates the rich heritage, skill, and stories of Indigenous communities while fostering meaningful connections between artisans and visitors.
