Did you know that 16% of UVA’s electricity comes from renewable sources both on and off Grounds? On this tour you'll hear from Sathish Anabathula, Director of Power and Light, who oversees all renewable energy infrastructure at UVA. We look forward to seeing you.

This October we are going behind the scenes at UVA. Behind every light switch, lab experiment, and workout are people, pipes and processes that make it all possible. Join us this Campus Sustainability Month, October 2025, for a series of free events that will allow UVA students, faculty, and staff to get to know energy, waste, and other key infrastructure at the University. From pipes underground to solar panels on rooftops, we’ll foster a deeper appreciation for what keeps our Grounds running day in and day out!
