This show is a part of the Rivanna Roots Concert Series, presented by The Front Porch and Rivanna River Company. Doors open at 5 pm and music is from 6-9 pm. Rebecca Porter
Born in Guam and raised in the Shenandoah Valley, Rebecca Porter blends soulful melodies and fearless lyrics with her honey-smooth voice to create her own brand of Appalachian honky tonk. Her 2023 EP, Queen of the Local, earned national acclaim and led to recognition in Rissi Palmer's Color Me Country Class of 2024, features on Ed Helms' Good Country, and a debut on NPR's Mountain Stage. Known for electrifying live performances, Porter captivates audiences with her emotional intensity and grit. Rebecca Porter's personal and raw storytelling continues to push boundaries, projecting a cinematic soundscape that balances traditional country’s rugged spirit with an unapologetic journey of perseverance. This is a full band show, with her all-star band the Rhinestone Roses.

Hash The Band
Hash is the latest Alt Rock/Jam band to come out of Charlottesville, Virginia, with members Hasler Yancey (lead vocals/lead guitar), Jackson Rosson (bass/vocals), Tommy Fruscello (drums/vocals), and Asher Friedman (keyboards/vocals). Established in late 2023, Hash has spent the past year playing shows both big and small with their trademark style, and publishing their first EP. Hash is always writing new music, and also have a wide variety of covers that they perform with their own spin to their crowds’ delight. With an explosive year behind them, Hash is ready to hit the road, continuing to ride this rhythmic wave.
