Experience the quiet power of the full moon with our Labyrinth Walk Hunter’s Moon at the Botanical Garden of the Piedmont. This special evening invites you to slow down, reflect, and walk with intention beneath October’s luminous moonlight.
The Hunter’s Moon is the first full moon after the autumn equinox. It rises early and shines brightly, illuminating the path ahead. Many cultures honor this moon as a time of gathering, reflection, and preparation for winter. We gather together in community to mark this transition.
We will meet at the Garden’s labyrinth near the lower meadow and stream. A brief welcome and intention-setting will begin at 5:00 PM. Afterward, you’re invited to walk the labyrinth in silence or at your own rhythm. You may reflect, release, or simply be present with the light and the land.
The Labyrinth Walk Hunter’s Moon creates space for quiet connection—with nature, with self, and with others. Whether you walk the path or sit nearby, you are welcome. Bring a flashlight or headlamp, but allow your eyes to adjust to moonlight if possible.
Dress warmly and wear sturdy shoes. You may bring water, a blanket, or something to sit on.
This event is open to all. Come alone or bring a friend. Share in this ancient practice of walking with awareness, guided by the rhythms of the natural world. Join us under the Hunter’s Moon. Step into the labyrinth and walk toward stillness, balance, and renewal.
