Joe Ely - Original Flatlander - WTJU Folk Marathon

Join Matt and Mike as they celebrate the life and career of Lubbock's own Joe Ely. His solo career from 1977 through 2025 led many paths, with stops along the way working with the Clash, Los Super Seven, Springsteen, Flaco Jimenez and of course never leaving his Flatlander pals, Butch Hancock and Jimmie Dale Gilmore. We'll spin all the great, obscure and by the end you'll know we're Nacho Mama in this Honky Tonk Masquerade.
