About the event

Celebration of Frequently Banned Books with talk by Karen Duncan Pape and MORE
The Keep Going Together Community Art Show continues at the JMRL Central Library 3rd Floor with a special emphasis on celebrating banned books and considering the impact of censorship on all of us.

Karen Duncan Pape, a fine art photographer living and working in Charlottesville will speak about her recent show “De-Circulated”, a project on banned books. Also at the reception, will be refreshments, music and a raffle for art of all kinds!

Please join us to learn more about what's at stake when we lose access to books.
