Artist Reception for Eli Jessee

FIREFLY is hosting an artist reception for Eli Jessee, whose art will be hanging in the bar area during the months of October and November 2025.

Eli Jessee (b. 2001) is a Charlottesville-native artist working primarily in acrylic, oil and graphite. The artist has been fascinated by capturing flora, fauna, and water features in his work. He is influenced by Impressionist artists as well as the artistic movements of the early twentieth century. Eli’s goal is to spark a dialogue about our relationship between the natural world and ourselves. Outside of painting, Eli can be found exploring waterways in his kayak, hiking local trails, and working at Creative Framing & The Art Box.
